Welcome to the latest SuperRare Labs release notes ! :gem:

This month we focused on improving and expanding auction capabilities, enhancing search speed and cleaning up profile interactions. We also spent a some time knocking out a large batch of bug fixes across the board.

Product Updates
  • Live Auction Filter – Updated live auctions filter on the Explore page.
  • Metadata Cleanup – Cleaned up and standardized metadata across SuperRare.com, including editorial and exhibitions.
  • Profile Update – Updated profile metadata for clarity and consistency (improves load times + utility).
  • Physical Artwork Support – Implemented support for physical artworks on the Collections page.
  • Search Upgrades – Updated search range to cover works back to 2018 and improved search by username functionality.
  • Infrastructure Upgrades – General infrastructure upgrades
Bug Fixes
  • Batch Offer Email Fix – Resolved issue where users received offer emails for artworks they own within the same series.
  • Mobile Video Spacing – Removed excessive space above and below video files on mobile.
  • 3D Model Rendering – Fixed GLB display issues on artwork detail pages.
  • Proposal Link Forwarding – Fixed broken link forwarding on proposal URLs.
  • Follow Modal Bug – Corrected modal behavior and styling when tapping “follow” while signed out.
  • Typesense Index Fix – Resolved missing artwork issue following profile migration.
  • Provenance Display – Fixed incorrect provenance attribution across various profile states.
  • Featured Artist Images – Ensured all featured artists display with correct images.
  • Temporary 404s – Investigated and resolved temporary 404 errors when navigating to profiles or series.
  • Horizontal Slideshow Scroll – Fixed scroll issues on slideshow components within editorial.
  • Mint Button Visibility – Ensured mint button appears on series pages for SR Releases.
  • 1/1 Filter Fix – Corrected filtering for 1/1 artworks on profile pages.
  • Release Price Update Sync – Fixed UI not updating when list price is changed on a Release.
  • Username Change Issue – Fixed an issue with changing account usernames.
  • Artwork Price Visibility – Fixed issue where list price wasn’t visible on artwork detail pages.
  • Older Token Auction Support – Fixed missing reserve auctions for older tokens affected by backend updates.
  • Portrait Video Modal Layout – Fixed modals pushing buttons off-screen due to portrait video sizing.
