-Which best describes your role in the crypto art ecosystem?
Select: Artist, Builder

-Provide more details:

Been living a double life… on one hand, as a traditionally trained artist; on the other, deeply involved in the crypto ecosystem since late 2011, where I ran a mining operation.

In 2012, Namecoin sparked a realization for me, that unique text could be encapsulated on the blockchain and I knew it was only a matter of time before other forms of digital media would find their place onchain. This insight launched a decade-long exploration of how art and blockchain could merge, leading to my early contributions to the development of the NFT movement.

In 2018, I began tokenizing my work on SuperRare as one of the platform’s earliest artists. Being present and engaged through SuperRare’s evolution has given me a unique perspective on the diverse challenges and needs of creators, collectors, and builders within the ecosystem.

That same year, I had the honor of delivering one of the first-ever TEDx talks on CryptoArt and NFTs at the Museum of London.

In 2019, had a NFT solo-exhibition in New York showcasing the first NFTs to be materialized from digital into physical form. (Solidity & Materiality) This work represented one of the earliest explorations of smart contract–enabled generative art projects, pre-dating even Autoglyphs.

Since then, I have been actively onboarding new participants into the ecosystem by speaking and exhibiting internationally and leading the Christie’s London EDU course on: NFTs, Blockchain, & The Metaverse. with over 100 participants.

Most recently, I’ve been involved in developing the Bitcoin Fine Art ecosystem, pioneering a new format for tokenization of digital assets on Bitcoin by merging Ordinals and Runes (Rune Art).

As a graduate of Central Saint Martins and The School of Design, I have dedicated my career to documenting the evolution of art merging with algorithms, novel distribution channels and networks - while continuing to actively contribute to the building of a new digital art ecosystem.

-Please share any relevant experience that would support your work on the Council:

• Started tokenizing on SuperRare in 2018 as one of the earliest artists on the platform. Therefore, being present and supporting the evolution of SuperRare through the years provided me with a unique perspective and understanding of diverse challenges and needs of creators, collectors, and builders in the ecosystem.

• Active service on the SuperRare DAO Governance Council for the past year, helping guide treasury management, support protocol improvements, and handle multi-sig responsibilities.

• Contributed to the earliest Generative Art Platform on the blockchain with an ongoing commitment to growing the digital fine art ecosystem.

• Working with multiple organizations, pop-up cities and DAOs as a strategic consultant and Web3 advisor.

• Selected by Christie’s London EDU, to be the sole leader of Christie’s course on: NFTs, Blockchain, & The Metaverse. (with over 100 participants)

• Experience in mechanism design for complex decentralized reputation and curation systems

• Contributed to the development of the Rare Protocol as the Executive Strategic Advisor

• Initiated a new format for tokenization of digital assets on Bitcoin (merging Ordinals and Runes)

• Created Rune Art and lead the creation of the ‘Timestamps’ collaborative art collection exploring in depth the novel capabilities of using Bitcoin as a medium for digital art

-What commitments can you make regarding availability and reliability for transaction signing, async communication, and participation in meetings?

Over the past year, I’ve demonstrated a strong commitment to the Council’s work by showing up consistently for async discussions, transaction signing, and calls across time zones. I carry my hardware wallet and remain accessible to ensure fast, secure participation whenever needed. I’m proud to maintain 100% uptime, and I’m ready to continue contributing with the same reliability.

Beyond the operational side, I’m deeply passionate about SuperRare’s mission and the broader digital art ecosystem. As the DAO enters a new phase, I believe my experience and steady presence can help provide continuity, advocacy, and thoughtful support for the community’s growth. I’d be honored to continue serving for another term.
